Meet Our Team
Logan Winston, MBA
Principal
Logan Winston is a renewable energy development expert with a deep history in advancing renewable energy projects across the US since 2007. He is the founder and Principal of Imagination Infrastructure, LLC.
Logan was previously with Mackinaw Power, EDPR (Horizon Wind Energy), ADVANCE Energy, and AES. He advanced project development on wind energy farms in Gratiot County, Michigan; Kern County, California; Arizona; and McLean County, Illinois. He also initiated and developed new solar generation projects, including siting and land acquisition.
Subsequently, Logan oversaw M&A due diligence for wind and solar energy projects at a boutique energy consultancy, and served as a project development manager in Saline County, Nebraska. As an integral part of AES’s wind team, Logan led efforts focused on wind development, wind repowers, and overall strategy in CAISO and WECC across solar and battery energy storage systems.
Logan holds an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business, a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Michigan and a BA from Kenyon College, and is a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) expert.
Alan Tennery, BSME, FAA A&P
Vice President - Technical Consulting
Alan Tennery has been working across wind and solar energy since 2005. Alan brings deep technical expertise and engineering capabilities to ImagineInfra as Vice President of Technical Consulting.
Alan spent seven years at Clipper Windpower executing and leading certification test programs for utility-scale wind turbines: validating structural, mechanical, electrical, and control designs, including full-scale blade structural programs at NREL, TECSIS (Brasil), MassCEC, NaREC (UK), and WMC (Netherlands).
Subsequently, Alan joined the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) as Lead Systems Integration & Verification Engineer. He managed multi-disciplinary field teams, conducted civil construction oversight from 30% design through as-built, developed IV&V strategies and formal operational readiness documentation.
At Gemini Energy Services (Tetra Tech), Alan served as Director of Engineering, building and leading teams delivering solar design, energy modeling, owner's engineering, O&M engineering, and commissioning support for utility-scale wind and solar projects across North America. He spearheaded adoption of PVCase solar design software and led design efforts for over 3,000 MW of solar projects, serving NV Energy, AES, Dominion Energy, Portland General Electric, and Brookfield Renewables.
Alan holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from California State University Sacramento, a Graduate Certificate in Renewable and Sustainable Energy from CU Boulder / (RASEI), an FAA Airframe & Powerplant License, and has an FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot License.
